Camille Claudel's pieces were much smaller in scale than the Rodin sculptures, but they were very finely detailed and beautiful.
She also used a variety of interesting materials, including jade.
I really enjoyed the room dedicated to her. It's incredible how two such wonderfully talented people could have found each other.

Oh, really? I don't know anything more about her than I posted. I'll have to look her up in the wiki...
yeah, she had a long-term affair with him, but he wouldn't leave his wife(? - not sure if he was actually married). She got pregnant and lost the baby. She may have also had an abortion on his insistence. She was also an obsessive genius and eventually went mad. There's a really good film about her. I think it's called 'Camille Claudel'. Worth seeing.
